What is Acupuncture and How does it work?

Acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years and is one of the oldest healing modalities in the world. It is an effective way to treat a wide variety of conditions without side effects.

There are over 2,000 acupuncture points in the body that run along meridians which are energetic pathways within the body. These meridians create a network that connects every part of the body.  They provide balance and they assist the body in regulation of its many physiological functions.  When needles are inserted along the meridians, the body is able to achieve its natural energetic balance.
