About Chinese Herbal Medicinals:

Chinese medicine uses herbal medicine in addition to acupuncture to enhance and expedite the healing process for many conditions.   Chinese herbs have been used for thousands of years as food and as medicine to address disharmony in the body and to improve health on an internal level.

This sophisticated system of herbs and formulas have been developed over several thousands of years, and is used to treat a variety of ailments, such as the common cold, stress, anxiety, depression, infertility, skin conditions, allergies, PMS, insomnia, acute and chronic pain, gastrointestinal function, and much more.  There are thousands of herbs in the Chinese materia medica, of which about 300 are commonly used.  These herbs are primarily roots, leaves, fruits, or nuts and are all natural.  Each of these individual herbs have specific and powerful healing properties which are further enhanced when combined and prepared with other herbs.
